I liked it a lot. It's decent for a port town. It has good selection of seafood or meat if you prefer if you're like me.

The food here is to die for. Excellent selection in food prepared with expertise. You show up from 5-6 and you can get a great deal on a 3 course meal. Their seafood is amazing no matter what you choose. The environment is amazing, even though the dinning room can get crowded. I highly suggest a reservation if you want a seat. The food is a bit pricey but not outrageous as if you were eating on South Beach. The Maine feel is evident once you walk in and the staff has that local friendly touch. The restrooms are clean and there is neat art everywhere you look in the restaurant. I highly suggest a visit, if not for the food then at least for the cocktails. Their bloody Mary's are fantastic.

Questions & Answers

The lobster roll is prepared the same as it has always been prepared by the same chef (19 years, longest standing chef at a restaurant in town). It is the same bun and the same amount of lobster. The lobster roll was priced at $22 for almost 15 years and market prices weren't kept up with in the past. When using fresh shucked lobster meat, never frozen, the price is based on quality as we only use the freshest and highest quality meats and seafood here at Hurricane. We don't make very much money on Lobster Rolls in general. A restaurant down the street has theirs at $28 and other restaurants on the lower end (usually because they use frozen lobster meat or because they catch the lobsters themselves). I'm sorry your perception over the years is making it seem smaller but I can guarantee it's the same size. I have heard nothing but great things about our lobster roll this season. Cheers, ~Taylor Benenti

I apologize I'm just seeing this now. We are not allowed to do indoor seating yet. We do have outdoor dining though under a tent behind the restaurant. We ask that you wear a mask unless seated at your table. We hope to see you soon, stay well. Cheers

Hi Francis, Public Suppers start up again a week from today. The Tuesday after Columbus Day October 15th. Look forward to seeing you there. Cheers, ~Taylor Benenti

We are open! Closing Dec 24th at 4 and re-opening Dec 26th at 11! Hope to see you there!

Don't know, but try Bandaloop on Cross St. Nearby and superb.
